About the Beenleigh Marketplace Dental team

Having graduated from the University of Qld in 2003, Jason has worked in both private and public practices within the Greater Brisbane Region. He passed the Taiwan National Examination in 2007, and has received further training in implantology and cosmetic dentistry from the Dr Wells group. Jason has practiced in the private sector since relocating back to Brisbane in 2009.

Jason continues to attend many dental education courses. He has concentrated on updating on all the latest dental information and technology, especially in the fields of all ceramic restorations, dental implants and full mouth rehabilitation. He strives to provide a complete range of treatment options and total dental care for his patients. He is also an active member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry.

Your position at BMP/MDC: General Dentist

What is your main area of expertise? 

My area of interest is Aesthetic dentistry. I enjoy improving my patients’ smile and helping them gain confidence, through restorative dentistry and also orthodontic treatments with braces or aligners.

What do you love about working with the BMP/MDC team?

What I love the most is how supportive the team is! Everyone treats each other like a family and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of each other and our patients.

What’s your favourite thing about the community?

I love the diversity of the community. I enjoy meeting with people from all different cultural backgrounds, and becoming friends with them.

What’s your top dental hygiene tip for patients? 

Floss. Brush. Brushing every morning, and flossing BEFORE brushing every night. Also don’t forget to visit your dentist every 6 months!

What is your main area of expertise?

I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and am devoted to continued learning and development, especially in the areas of general restorative dentistry and oral surgery. However, I am a firm believer in preventative dentistry – practicing good oral hygiene at home and visiting the dentist for a check-up and clean twice a year.

The caring nature of every single staff member, towards each other and our patients

What’s your top dental hygiene tip for patients?

There are over 700 species of microbes that live in your mouth! Brush your teeth twice a day, floss once, and don’t forget to brush your tongue!

Your position at BMP/MDC: General Dentist

What is your main area of expertise?

I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, but I’d say the field that interests me the most would be endodontic therapy (also known as root canal therapy). I am a firm believer in saving teeth instead of pulling them if possible and endodontic therapy helps to give the tooth a second chance.

What do you love about working with the  BMP/MDC team?

My favourite part of working with the BMP team is how friendly, open and caring everyone is to each other. It feels like one big family and I always feel supported from my colleagues.

My favourite thing about the community is how friendly everybody is and the opportunity to meet with people from all walks of life.

What’s your top dental hygiene tip for patients?

My top dental hygiene tip for patients is don’t forget to give the gums a bit of love when you’re brushing. Make sure to gently brush along where the teeth and gums meet!
